I can taste the cotton in my RDA - A couple questions.

I don't think I have tried the prime, just the original cotton bacon, and it worked perfectly.

I just found for a quid cheaper the Koh Gen Do was just as good so stuck with that, I believe I still have the pack of cotton bacon somewhere. I used it for quite a few builds and rewicks and am sure there is still about half a pack left somewhere.

There is a brand similar to Koh Gen Do that I bought in the past but I can't remember its name, it was just as good all natural cotton sheets for about £3.95 for 120 sheets. I will have to try and find this brand again as I am running low on my Koh Gen Do, and for some reason it is nearly £20 a pack now! It looks like you can't buy it direct from Koh Gen Do anymore so it could be old stock being sold at an inflated price.

I have even just realised the cotton I have is in fact Muji when I looked at it, I have no idea why I thought it was Koh Gen Do. I must have used this brand in the past and it stuck in my head.

I use muji organic pads, 180pads £2.95+P&P direct from them. Lasts bloody yonks.
For beginners BPMODS sized cotton is good it's a tub of 1 long sized string in 2.5mm or 3mm

I always use Muji, i even use it for Mesh. I have some Cotton Bacon which is ok but still prefer Muji. Been using some EXVape Laces which are excellent for 2.5 builds. Even when i sub-ohmed i never went higher than 50w generally settling at 35w. Can't remember doing a Dual Coil build as i preferred Mesh.

I used cotton bacon prime for 5 years but bought a 200 pack of Labo Puff Muji about a year ago and have been using it ever since. I was happy with cotton bacon but it definitely has a break in period and the first 5 to 10 puffs definitely aren't great - with muji I can't detect any 'off' flavour or cotton.

Koh gen was originally sold as a beauty product. Then back in the day. Muppets like my self found it was banging for wick so we bought it, lots of it. I remember for a while we couldn't buy it anywhere. It was all sold out. Thanks to reviewers like Riptrippers telling the world our cheeky little secret. . It was around that point when the price started creeping up. Can't blame them really. Up went the price but still bought it.

I did see some "organic cotton sheets" in superdrug the other day for around a fiver. But didn't buy them. As was unsure to the packaging claims. Stealthvape still sells it. Pretty sure it's around £6 a pack. But don't quote me lol.

That's why I always buy either V2 or prime. Have to agree. The original stuff definitely has a break in period but a way round that. Drop some VG on the build a few times to pulse. Usually got around it or made it better.

You mentioned the organic cotton in superdrug- these likely would have been fine, but for £2.95 direct from Muji you might as well get 180 sheets lol.

It's been so long since I used the OG cotton bacon I can't remember if there was a break in period or not but take your word for it.

Haha, yeah its easy to forget what you already have isn't it! If you have 2 or 3 packs you must have about 500 sheets of cotton- if that doesn't last you long you are doing something wrong lol
