can you vape in turkey?

me and my husband are thinking of booking a holiday in turkey. I wondered if you can vape? I don't want to go back to smoking. I've tried googling it.

Not sure about the law in Turkey but I’ve vaped there no problem at all, Icmeler, Marmaris, Hisaronu no problem, seen people vaping in Dalaman airport, take everything you need though and spares because the vape stuff sold there is mainly rubbish.

Officially, it's heavily regulated, but in practice there's little enforcement.

The Turks are also very accommodating to tourists, but you never know if you're going to come against some jobsworth, so don't take anything too valuable.

Just come back from turkey this morning. No problems vaping or at the airport check coming home... the guy checking my stuff looked a little puzzled at my gear and I just said "e-cigarettes" which he seemed more than happy with.

I travel to and from Turkey on a regular basis and generally carry a mod, tank & a bottle of juice in my hand luggage, along with a plentiful supply of juice, spare batteries & mod/tanks in the hold bag. Never had any issues either leaving the UK or arriving in Turkey (or the return journey) I pack my supplies in a couple of Coilmaster cases for extra protection. I’ve been doing it this way for 4 years or so!

@Mr_Fog your batteries should go in your hand luggage, having lithium cells (or anything with an internal lithium cell) in your hold luggage is expressly forbidden. They want batteries/rechargeable devices in the cabin so if anything should go wrong they can deal with it there and then, you're lucky your bag hasn't been either opened to remove the offending articles or been left/taken off the plane.

After reading the Turkish Airlines advice online, it seems you are correct @red5 and it also seems I have been rather lucky over the years. Although now, I have left a few spare batteries my Turkish home so won’t be travelling with anything other than juice in future.
