Capella Caramel

Thanks for that, I have some PA Dulce de Leche here which I've just sniffed. I think I shall play with it on the weekend - strange though, it also has a faint chemical whiff which I don't remember when I last used it. I'm starting to suspect my nose needs a tune up.

I've not used it on it's own bug if it's anything like a custard then that smell/taste should go after a few weeks in steep ;)

Thanks for the help people.

I've progressed things slightly by adding a bit of Brown Sugar and warming the juice up a bit. It seems to have taken a bit of the chemical edge away but caramel it ain't!

I'm going to order some Inawera caramel tomorrow.

Defo capella caramel i"ve got....i do remember one of the hardcore mixers on ukv saying it needed at least as long as custard to steep.

Yip steep it for 3 weeks and it's one of the best out there just like Capella custard, you won't find a better flavour house than Capella, yes you can get others that are nice, but Capella just rules and iv been mixing now for 5 years or more, and iv tried 1000s of pounds worth of concentrates lol, I normally have clip,e hundred pounds worth in at a time, I rarely buy juice as it's too much money for lots of disappointments lol

F'arts caramel is dissapointing so it went back in the cupboard for a longer steep.
Its about two weeks old now so I may just have another blast on it to see if its improved any.
