Charger recommendations

My trusty xtar dragon died

So looking for recommendations for a new 18650 charger.....

Minimum 4 bays
Must be able to use from 12v/usb when away from home
Prefer a readout to give me some idea of battery health etc

What's good out there at the moment?

Xtar vc8+ ?
Nitecore d4 ?

Any thoughts on either of them or any others worth a look?

Nitecore um4 and ums4, both are really good. They have usb connector for the road. Not as dragon as they lack some features of the dragon like testing / discharging. Also, Liitokala lii500 engineer is another good one.

I have a Miboxer CE4 and an Xtar VC4 both of which are good chargers. The Miboxer is a wall plug charger and the Xtar is USB but you can buy the Power Packs for them. Take a look on Fogstar as they offer a few different ones.

Xtar VC4SL gets my vote. Does more than just charging.

My Xtar VP4 expired earlier this year after 5 years use. Fabulous charger and suited my needs (I don't like cooking batteries at high amps).
They are very difficult to find now but I managed to get one from Creme de Vape. They are still available.

Still got my vc4 and added a vc8 recently. Cannot go wrong with an xtar as many have said!

between this thread starting and now my trusty dna 200 (the old bronze relaux) also died lol, so the housebrick sized HOG DNA 400 that's been sat on my desk a year is now my daily, making the VC8 the most sensible choice i think.
