Just a quick one. I have an Xtar MC1 single bay 0.5amp charger. I’m currently using an iPhone charger plug and the provided usb cable. I think the charger plug is 1amp?!

Is the safe and ok for my batteries?

Nominal charging current for modern high drain batteries is about 0.5c, For example samsung 25R - 2500Mah or 2.5Ah, nominal charge current - 1.25A, Fast charge current - 4A(from datasheet), So yes, its safe enaught.

But still the charger should not be left unattended!!

PS: And no matter what current can give the source(charger from the iPhone), your charger will still charge at current of 0.5 amps. It is bad if the source is weaker than the consumer! In your case all ok
