Hi all, I currently got rather large order sat in basket over at chefs £110 worth. I decided to give a few of there custards ago as I haven't vaped custard flavour for a long time now and in the years I been mixing never mixed one either I got there welsh custard and captain custard anybody know if there any good. to be fair most of there own one shots are bang on but just curious. also I havent placed order yet as not sure if they will have Halloween discount code over this weekend anybody know if they have one or are likely to.

Thanks all

Not tried the captain custard but the Welsh I think is amazing and not sure on discount bud other other than the usual 10% potv code

Thanks pal what would you put steep time at for welsh custard
It's amazing after 4 week and gets a little better towards the 6 week mark and then I tend to run out as i vape it like a crack addict on a binge lol

Haha thats why I haven't done custards before as I can never leave juice long enough to steep.

I used to get a few shake and vapes along side my custard order to vape while i wait for it and order more custard concentrate to be delivered the day I start to vape it so I can replace the one steeping and before you know it your system changes to where everything steeps its just building up your stash

Big thumbs up for the Welsh, I made 3 or 4 batches of this from last Nov to the spring and was always great (17.5% in 60-70%VG I think).

I just got paid and recently resolved to try to get back off the extra-sweet pre-mades, so Chefs Vapour are my next port of call ! - they have some new chocolates to try... still looking for a choc vape that isn't icky... always looking fro that in fact, Dark Temptation was close but... not quite.

For speeding up the steeping process I got a little battery whisk, i brew juice in little kilner jars (flatpack of 12 in a handy tray for under 15 quid at homebase etc) which have nice big mouths, so i can open them up in situ, whack the whisk in and give them a good fettling, change the air and close up again, speeds the steep up nicely, lify the whisk above the surface and the excess splats inside the jar so no loss of juice, quick dip in a glass of warm water and on tl tne next jar, easy to keep a couple of dozen juices onu the steep that way and all in glass and carryable back tl the cold dark place in one slab.

With a syringe and wide mouths, it's a doddle to pull a tankfull out, so no rebotling apart for making little top up stashes for tne car etc

Is it best to steep in a cold place? I've got mine in a dark, but warm cupboard. Maybe outside in the garage if it needs to be really cold?

Thanks, Rob

I think a bit of warmth is good as it keeps the vg a bit thinner and helps the steeping. to much heat may affect the nicotine. Some folk mix and stand the made up bottles in warm to hot water, some microwave the made ups for a few seconds then shake them up. i just make them up shake them up and store them in a plastic chest of draws in a cupboard in the kitchen. Shaking them every few days.
Custards i tend to steep for 8 weeks
