Chefs flavours

Thank you @crustyfolker, I'm keeping mine in the airing cupboard. It's not a traditional really warm airing cupboard though, the tank is sealed and the outside doesn't get warm, so the cupboard is pretty much room temp, but it's dark.
I hope i can wait long enough!! Last week I made up about 500mls of various custards and other flavours, so I reckon I'll be able to leave them alone until Christmas.

Thanks, Rob.

I have 200 ml of vanilla custard steeping now been going about 2 or 3 weeks so xmas it will be done, good job i got plenty of other stuff to keep me going and about 20 ml of custard left till then. all the best with it mate

Hi all, I currently got rather large order sat in basket over at chefs £110 worth. I decided to give a few of there custards ago as I haven't vaped custard flavour for a long time now and in the years I been mixing never mixed one either I got there welsh custard and captain custard anybody know if there any good. to be fair most of there own one shots are bang on but just curious. also I havent placed order yet as not sure if they will have Halloween discount code over this weekend anybody know if they have one or are likely to.

Thanks all

I'm a big fan of their " oneshots "

Welsh Custard being one of them although Doughnut King is my favorite. I've not vaped either of them for a while as they where my adv for ages and I fancied a change.

I've just noticed some Welsh Custard on my steeping shelf under the stairs that was mixed in March so should be good...

good luck with your mixing

cheers

Just ordered some Chef's Welsh custard and their new ABC. Just confirm, these are one-shots? Can you add anything to them, like a few drops of lemon to make it lemony poundcake (ish)? Can you recommend a cake flavour to do this? I read on the ELR forum, (sorry POTV!), that some cake flavours are dodgy and shouldn't be used. http://forum.e-liquid-recipes.com/t/added-a-bunch-of-warnings-to-flavor-west/54521
If your looking for a good lemon cake go to the one shot range in chefs concentrates and find lemon drizzle cake it's by far one of the best lemon cake flavours iv found and all done for you

looking forward to trying it , into my lemon vapes at the moment so ordered a few others to try as well

Is it best to steep in a cold place?

Happy to be corrected but my impression is that steeping is about the flavours blending, so in a sense the warmer the better for reactoons/fluidity but obviously thats not best for longevity of nic etc so a balance is called for, i steep at room temp mainly, zapping them with a mini whisk to mix and oxygenate every... most... some days until i think its readyish, then bottle some for immediate vaping and move the rest to the cooler place for storage.

I must say im thrilled to be getting into mixing again, kinda got out of it when a vape shop opened nearby and spent lots on elements and the like but time to rein in the cost and be more creative, waiting for my concentrate of mince pie and brandy from chefs now, along with a shitload of othef stuff including 30ml of welsh conc.
