Chefs Vapour Milk

Hello Apes,

I mixed this milk with cinnamon Danish and it tastes horrible.... Now 10 days steeping so I don't think that's the issue.

Looking on e-recipes I've seen most ppl mix milk at 16%. And cinnamon Danish at 14%.

But it seems a lot compared to the other concentrates and my juice tastes like s***

Any thoughts?

30% seems somewhat excessive for total flavour %, I'd dial it back to somewhere between 10-15%, to work out the correct ratio you would probably be better off making a 5ml test batch of the single flavours at like 3,5 & 10% and take notes. From your notes you should be able to work out a good starting % for each flavour in your mix and have a better idea what adjustments need to be made to the mix to improve it.

I think it is the Basic CV one, not Chef's Choice. Is it known to be bad ?

No idea, never tried it

Yeah i thought so ... fortunately i did only 10ml, i'm trying to be very careful so not to waste what i bought, but trial-and-error it's part of DIY ....

I started at 10ml cause it's SO easy to calculate and also my smallest syringe is 1ml ... but i might just try 5ml singles to see how it goes.

The 16% you're seeing on e-liquid-recipes could be for a different concentrate :O

If it's CAP cinnamon danish it should be bang on the money, love that concentrate

Yes the Cinnamon Danish is the CAP one, do you mix it at 14% ?

I checked and re-checked on the milk, i did get the right one on e-rec.

Might need moar steeping

I have a feeling it was lower, around 10% been a while since I used it though.

Here is a tip

Put a little bit of water in a cup, add a drop of your concentrate.. then swill it around your mouth and spit it out. How does it taste? Now try the same with the milk.

Might give you an idea of how strong these two flavours are individually. I like to do this with new concentrates, gives me an idea what they will taste like

Remember you can always add flavouring, but to take it away you'll have to dilute

Very interesting, i'll try that out.

I'm gonna let it steep a bit more and if it really tastes so strong i'll dilute, cause the smell coming out of the bottle is AMAZING, i just have to fine tune it.
