so i bought about 9 a while back.

so far tried:

millionaires shortbread.... very good. can taste the shortbread, chocolate and caramel

cookie dough ice cream..... good

jam rolly polly... very good. can taste the suet.

raspberry ripple... very muted. mixed at 20%. mix all chefs vapour at 20%.... tried this one even higher, but still not that impressed.

english trifle... same as above.

what flavours have you tried and what are you mixing them at?

p.s sorry about the non capitals...for some reason it won't let me do capital letters on this forum???

Jamaican Ginger, Spotted Dick with Custard and Mince Pies with Brandy Cream.
All at 30%. Bloody lovely

Banana
Pecan maple Danish
Absinthe
English trifle
Jam roly poly
Coconut
Butterscotch
Caramel toffee
Spotted dick and custard
Amaretto
Honeycomb ice cream
All mixed at 20%, liked them all except the Amaretto which tasted of plastic.

Have you tried lower percentages? I personally started at 20% but nowadays I'm mixing at 10-15% and I can actually taste the flavour better than before.

I'd say try mixing it again at 10% and 15% and see what results you get. You might be surprised!

I'm going to try than on my next lot I make. Yet, a poster above mixes at 30% so maybe I'm not using enough?

I though the English trifle was disappointing as it had good reviews so maybe I'm doing something wrong.

Ive just started with flavours.
Went a bit mental and ended up with about 40, most of them being tobacco and mixed they'll take a bit of maturing before I use them.
Im using Flavour Art stuff, its needs lower percentages to achieve the desired results.

Have you tried leaving it to steep for a while?

Yes. Did this lot on the 27th of July so been steeping for over two weeks. This raspberry ripple just tastes muted. It's pissing me off lol. I mixed at 20% and then added few more drops and still no real different.

Some of my custard based juices mixed @ 20 - 25% have taken 60 days to come good. 2 weeks is a Beaujolais !
