Hi,

I've been mixing for 3-4 months now. Moved from measuring to weighing and have found a few (single concentrate) flavours that does me just now.

Last week i tried a friends lemon menthol (not homemade) on my dripper which now makes me want to mix the following flavours:

Lemon Menthol
Orange Menthol
Lime Menthol

Now i don't see this being difficult and have ordered the relevant concentrates but my question is, what is a recommended % for mixing flavours with menthol? I know it's all subjective as it depends on what i like more (menthol or flavour) but is there any general rules of thumb such as only add a tiny bit of menthol as it might overpower the flavour? or should i have it mostly menthol with a small percentage of flavour?

My usual juices consist of 20% flavour.

Thanks,
Kevin.

What brand concentrates are you using? They vary wildly in strength.

I found it took quite a long time for the menthol to settle down to where it wasn't overpowering the fruits in the mixes I tried. That was at 2% menthol. Maybe try a small test batch at whatever % fruit you use as a single mix and add .5 or 1% menthol initially.

Interesting. Alot of recipies state that they use around 10% menthol 5% flavour but i'm thinking more along the lines that you suggested.

Wow! :D I guess taste and concentrate strengths vary and then again, I might just be a woos. Be interested to hear what you find yourself. :)

I'm a fan of a cold vape.

Some of mind I like are

FW blue ice at 12% nice cold blue raspberry slush flavour

TPA pineapple 8% mixed in a 30ml bottle with 10drops of koolada

If you can find a good lemon menthol let me know! I've tried a few and fail everything.

I had some juice a few years ago call lemon mint by eshish. Haven't been able to find it again but it was bloody lovley!

Will do! Once the flavours arrive i think i'll initially try 15% menthol 5% flavour and then 15% flavour 5% menthol, see what i prefer and tweak from there.

Could also maybe try reduce the menthol and add a little Koolada to help save the flavours if the menthol takes over. Just a thought :)
