Cleaning AMOD SMPL

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had any advice for cleaning my Amod SMPL Mech. I have had a look around and can't find anything that gives any help with the painted mech mod? I think the inside needs a really good clean, but don't want to mess up the paint?

It's a stainless steel one I have and I just put it in the ultrasonic now and again. I use Brasso on the switch, have never bothered taking the switch apart as Brasso on the connection brings it back to top form.

Hot soapy water on the tube, rinse in clean hot water and leave to dry - that'll do the job.

I put my black SMPL in the ultrasonic the fucking finish came off.
I think the bath softened it and it bounced against a few other shinies in there.
No more painted/coated shit for me, solid metal from now on.

I have a black SMPL too and an us cleaner, luckily it's never been in it! What was the tube like after the wash? Plain copper?

Sorry, miles away...
I believe it was ss, it looked like that as I threw it in the garden.
FT clone, the switch threads in the tube were buggered as well.
Not one of my best buys.
