Did something dumb and got a debit card...now i want to use it, but i only make minimum wage...so what's the deal with clones? does it make you less of a man to carry a clone? When your talking mechs how much of a difference is there really?
I'm looking lustfully at an hcigar nemi...anyone got any thoughts?

The way I see it,
Yes it's good to support the original mod makers, and the bragging rights that go with it. But ultimately, you buy what you can afford. I was a rollie smoker, spending about £90 a month, on smoking materials. So that is my budget each month, to get all my vaping supplies.
One draw back with clones is, you buy cheap and you may end up with cheap and regret it. But not always. I have hcigar stuff, and the quality is good. But I don't know how that compares to the originals of the same items.

And before I get jumped on, yes I do have some original gear.

My nem and brass sentinel clones are spot on. I can't honestly see how the original could be better but they did rip off the original which isn't a very nice thing to do. That said, if the budget is low, get a clone as your health is what's most important.

I can't seem to justify to myself that any piece of metal can have such a huge markup just because it has a 'named' creator on its external surfaces. I don't own a genuine product to compare it to a clone (yet)so I may change my opinion soon as I intend buying the Dreadnought hybrid. One thing I have noticed, 18xxx series mods seem to be cloned before the genuine article reaches the UK, yet 26xxx series mods don't seem to ever be cloned. I am prepared to be proved wrong though.

Clones are pretty good I only use clones and i had an hcigar clone and boy did it hit hard

Clones are an excellent affordable way to try new things for example you spend £25 on a nemesis clone and you don't like it imagine how pissed you would be if you spent £150+ on an original. There's also the flip side where you buy a clone and love it so you save up for the original.
I have a nemesis clone and for money they are excellent, I take mine to work as if it gets lost or breaks it's going to be cheap and easy to replace

You can only support the mod maker if the mod maker is making mods. If the mod maker supported us by making enough mods to go round then it'd be a different thing. Same goes for all the greedy bastards who buy 2, 3 even four original mods, preventing the rest of us owning one. All the clones I have are every bit as good as all the originals I have.

If you don't have much money you can only buy clones. Thank goodness for FT.

alas i have to say i only buy clones now, yes my dick is so small because of this that my manly-ness also gets questioned as result, but am i bothered?...not a jot ;)

im saving my health and my money goes much further and very happy for it :)

I agree with whats be said. you can only buy what you can afford. If a clone works for you then thats fine If you want a genuine mod then thats fine they both do the same thing VAPE.
