Coil or liquid burning too quick

So I'm not sure what has changed or what exactly is causing the issue.
I have an Aspire NX40 mod with a 1.5ohm coil. I have the wattage set at 16, less doesn't give any flavour.
I have used this particular mod since November 2020 and hadn't had issues until a few weeks ago. I have taken steps to avoid burning the coil, cleaning it almost every time I put new liquid in etc, but nothing seems to help. I bought a completely new mod and the same issues, I have been using the same liquids from Vape Town with a 50/50 mix, worked absolutely fine, and now either the liquid or coils are burning out within a couple days. I use it regularly throughout the day but not at all excessively. Can someone please help? I'm spending more on coils than I would if I was smoking!
Photo shows the current state of my liquid, I've read it could be oxidisation but I only filled it less than 24hrs ago and it hasn't been exposed to heat at all nor cold temp.

Hello! Are you making sure that you prime your coils before vaping? Also, where are you buying your coils from?

Recently, occasionally I prime them, but I never did before and had no issues at all. I've bought coils from Amazon, Aspire and Vape Town, to see if there was a difference but it doesn't seem like there is

I haven't used this kit but I would be priming the coils and with a new coil using it initially at a much lower wattage to break it in.

Just a lower nicotine content, I had changed flavour but I reverted back with fresh coil and brand new mod
A lower nicotine content could mean you're putting less of a nic shot in there if you're using shortfills so that could alter the ratio of pg/vg and higher vg could be creating and causing the issue.
