Coils and wattage

Hello all
So here’s my question, I’m soon to be buying the kit below

now this comes fitted with

• 2 Geekvape Z Series coil(Pre-installed: 0.2Ω 70-80W; Spare: 0.25Ω 45, now am I right in thinking that I can only run the vape at between 70 and 80w with the pre installed coil?

That is the recommended range by the manufacturer. Personally I would use the coil at a much lower wattage initially to bed it in and avoid burning it out too quickly. Then increase the wattage to find your sweet spot.

Hello @stewie and welcome to POTV. The watt recommendations on coils are just that and should be taken as that. I always ignored them on premade coils when I used them and started off low and built up the watts to where I liked it. Once you get used to a coil, you'll then know what to set the watts to. the link you posted @stewie is for the box mod only and not the kit so does not come with a tank or coils.

i dont go much above 50-60watt with these coils and they last around a week to 10 days.

also remember this will be max size tank of 2ml. you will also need to buy the bubble glass seperately.
