Coils Burning Out

Really depends what you're in to, my favorite wire coil RTA is my Geekvape Zeus X, favorite mesh RTA is the Wotofo Profile Unity. My most used device lately though is my Geekvape Athena mech squonker with a Geekvape Talo X on it.

All of these are DTL attys though.

Was looking at the Zeus X earlier today funny enough lol. Think I’m gonna see how the rest of these N1’s perform, and then make a decision. Thanks for your help.

I also use a Smok RPM 80 RGC 80 coils which is a decent little pod. Only issue is that the coils tend to leak (it’s hit and miss tbh) some coils will last and perform like a champ and then others are terrible.


I used to use the iJoy Avenger 220w kit but the batteries went kaput lol.

Definitely need to upgrade from the mojo though. That Zeus setup looks sweet.

The juice is Tea Lady - White Chocolate and Raspberry Cookie. It’s a 70 vg 30 pg mix. Nicotine is 3mg. The coils are from vape club. I was buying my coils from a different vendor and they were perfectly fine. I think it’s the chain vaping whilst breaking in the coils… it’s the only thing I can think of atm. Either that or my mod is on its way out idk… I’m honestly stumped lol.

I have ordered a bunch through Vape Club and I find that the coils and pods are 50/50 good or bad batch, the e-liquids are typically fine, just find that the QC isn't as high as I like. Sucks, because their shipping is next level!

Can't go wrong with any of the Geek Vape Zeus range.

The Geek Vape Aegis mods are great too so might be worth looking into the kits that come with mod and tank.

If you buy the Zeus X RTA you can always buy the Mesh Deck after then you have like a couple of Tanks all in the One.

Update:

So out of the 5 N1 coils Vape club sent me, I’m on my second coil. First coil burnt out within an hour lol but I’ve been using coil number 2 for like a week now and it’s still going strong, so hopefully the other 3 will be all good too.

Smoke RGC coils have been perfectly fine. I’ve just ordered 3 replacement pods due to the stop cap not sticking correctly on the OG pod.

Still going to upgrade the Mojo within the next couple of months or maybe next month depending on how long these last three coils last lol.

I also have an iJoy Avenger 220w mod kit but I need to get 2 new batteries for it… it’s a nightmare to find the coils for the tank too which is putting me off.


Maybe a cheaper option instead of upgrading my Mojo would be to just purchase two batteries for the Avenger as well as a new tank? The avenger mod itself is pretty good from what I remember, and it still looks up-to-date kinda.
