Coil type ie Clapton, Fused, Alien is totally subjective. I do not get on with standard Clapton's as spit too much yet Aliens & Fused I'm happy with. The only way to know what is good for you is try it. Get a selection of Ni80 & SS fancy coils & test them. Hopefully sooner rather than later you'll find something that suits your style of vaping & gear your using.
Once you've found a set up that works for you, you can then get adventurous & try different atties & tanks knowing you have a fall back.

I understand, previous recommendations were for Kanthal wire when I was planning on making my own coils. If I can get Kanthal A1 coil 200pcs for $9.59 I'm not going to even bother as the time and financial investment isn't worth it to me at this time.

I just settled on a build yesterday and ordered today. I understand that around 0.22 ohms is a good starting point. I saw your recommendation for N80 wire from Fasttech. If I was in the UK I would have ordered and been done with it.

I'm going to order from http://www.vapethink.com/ They have many Clapton coils, none of which say N80. The close ones is:
Coupled fused clapton
[(28GA*2+38GA)+28GA] 3.0 0.3ohm
Material: Kanthal A1
