Coils gunking up

Hi so are you cleaning/replacing the coils as often as I am

I think it depends how much you are vaping. I am not sure how much I vape per day as I tend to switch juices/tanks regularly. I would say I need to change coils/wicks as much as you do, yeah. :/
probably after every two tanks of HOL.

It doesn't say but I am presuming it's a 50/50 juice. I might be wrong though. They are gunkers for sure.

Hooch is a steeped tobacco juice too.

When you steep 'stuff' in e-liquid it adds a whole host of natural flavours to it, which make it taste amazing, but also make it gunk the coils fast :(

There isn't anyway around it sadly. Not only steeped tobacco but other 'natural' flavour extracts will do a similar thing. VG will also gunk things faster as VG is basically a type of sugar. When you heat sugar to 161C it turns to caramel, when you get VG really hot it breaks down into simple sugars and those 'caramelise' and burn onto the coil which results in gunk.

It's a good reason to get in rebuildable supplies and learn to rebuild coils.
