Compatible coils.

Afternoon all,

I've just switched from a Coolfire to a SMOK Species. I understand that SMOK isn't everyone's favourite subject but I'm looking for some guidance on which coils are compatible with my tank.

Apologies if this question has been asked and answered already but I couldn't find anything through the search.

I'm using the TVF8 Mini V2 tank that came with the mod. The only coils I can find online are Baby V2 and not Mini V2.

Will the baby ones fit? Obviously worried about throwing money at a pack of coils bought cheaper online that then don't actually fit.

I don't think there's a TFV8 Mini - is that what it says in the package?

Fairly typical of Smok but the new mini v2 coils are only compatible with the mini v2 and the baby beast coils ie v8 baby coils do not fit. However the Tfv-mini v2 tank has been known as the TFV 8 baby V2
So make sure you arent buying v8 baby coils and you are buying mini v2 coils or baby v2 coils ie A1 or A2 coils
I hope that helps a bit You can tell from their shape the v8 baby coils are shorter The v2 coils have big square wicking holes in the side and come in different colours

Yeah it says it is a TVF8 Mini V2 tank. It came with a Mini V2 A1 coil and a Mini V2 A2 coil.

@Getarep I'm concerned that the only ones if managed to find say Baby on the side of the coil. The one that came in the box with my Mod says Mini on the side of it.

Going to be a nightmare to find replacements by the look of it. Obviously without going into my local vape shop!

Go on to FT and search for every version of TFV8 and see which coils look like yours. Simples.

I would always advocate going to a BnM but having said that they are visually quite different although there is another shape v8 coil also
