Concentrate Dilutions

Hi Folks,
I've been DIYing for a bit and I'm pleased so far.
I only use flavour concentrates that have recommended dilution % 's.
This limits me to my choice of flavours/manufacturers because not all concentrates include recommended dilutions in their descriptives, and I don't like the idea of 'hit and hope'.
From my limited knowledge and understanding, the only way I can think of, for adding concentrates of unknown dilution factors is to make up a small quantity, let it steep/mature, then suck it and see.
If that is how it is, then that is how it is, but I'll ask anyway.
Is there any other way? Maybe flavour resources that I am unaware of?

Make a batch without nicotine to test as you don't need to steep without nicotine added.

I think there's always a bit of guesswork, but it would be good if they told you a rough guide about how much to use.

I normally start at a 10% mix if unsure in small 5ml batches. Once you've refined it, go to town

Totally agree, small batches are key. Have a Google before you try and see what comes up but remember taste is totally subjective, also you can always add more but you can't take it away (although that's not strictly true as you can always dilute your mix so maybe I should delete that bit - nah, I'll leave it in). I've had a fair few failures with mixing but rarely unvapable, good luck and good vaping!

Have a look at the wiki section of the forum too, as there are some guidelines, I messed up with an inawa concentrate once ha ha never again, most concentrates I mix at 10%, I did that with an inawa spearmint and was very nearly sick ha ha, it's lovely and strong at 3% ;-)
