I do not mix my own e-liquids yet but plan to at some point. Right now though, I am loving trying lots of different e-liquids to suss out what type of flavours I like and what I don't.

What is in a concentrate?

Can you add a few drops to ready made e-liquids? I was wondering if if I can maybe make some of my yucky e-liquids taste a bit better and make them vapeable by adding just a drop or two to one that I don't like?

Thanks.

No reason at all why you can't. After all variety is the spice of life and it's good to experiment! It's probably quite a good way of easing yourself into DIY, although I've a sneaky feeling you'll take to it like a duck to water :)

Concentrates come in a few bases... PG, Alcohol (Ethanol), Water or Oil. They also can contain synthetic flavourings to mimic our fave foods, or you can get organic flavourings that come straight from the plant.

Most flavourings are safe for food use, and the ones safe for vaping don't contain oil (oil = bad) which I am sure you know :P

Its really easy, I was super scared Id mess it all up.
Now I have 2 juice boxes and 2 drawers dedicated to my mixing :P I just make for me and the OH though and the mixes I dont like. I keep for the odd case that it might be nice months later :P

Before I really got into DIY, that's what I used to do....Lemon concentrate can be a good one-if you like lemon! The main ones I used to use were lemon, coconut and cinnamon danish. Hope that helps x

Great. Thanks all. I love lemon! :)

Yes, oil bad ;)

I do have a few bottles of concentrates here, in preparation for when I start mixing, so I might try a few drops later tonight.

I bet it's really easy to mix a drop or two into a liquid you don't like, then still not like it, so add a few drops of something else and end up with something monstrously gross. Or I reckon that's what I might be prone to dong anyway. I do love to experiment. I'll probably get too adventurous and ruin loads of liquids.

If you like mint, that's a good one to add to other juices that you're not keen on. Just do it a drop at a time and mix really well.

If you're worried about mixing, just try a few small mixes without the nicotine. That way If you hate them you're not using the expensive part. If you do like them, brilliant, just add the nicotine and bobs your uncle!!

Oooh, you just saved me asking the same question as I've been recommended to add some coconut to juices I don't like!

When you say a couple of drops, is that per 10ml bottle or per clearo?

I suppose you could do either, but I'd recommend adding it to the bottle, that way it's easier to shake and mix it up.
