Hi all,

Picking up 3 x 3d printed boxes that my mate has printed for me this Friday ( cheers @dismal_fett for linking me to the design, if they turn out good I'll happily send you one for free, just pay for postage )

What thickness would you squonkers recommend for the copper contacts? I've ordered a sheet of 0.7mm thick copper.
Just wondering if this would be alright in terms of thickness?

Cheers
Max

@nerzz Yeah, 0.7 has been working fine for me, easy to work with and conducts very well.

If your mate happens to do another run of printed enclosures then I'd be interested in purchasing one.

Well that's bloody decent of you @nerzz, I'd love to get me hands on one! What you thinking for the 510, modmaker? Also seen a couple of interesting ideas for locking the fire button I'd love to try out

@Bazz_74 excellent, there was so much choice but thought 0.7 sounded right. Yes mate, if they turn out nice I'll get him to print me 10 more.

@dismal_fett no worries! And yeah for the 510 I'll be using the modmaker, lots of people say they're pretty decent squonk 510's! Button wise I'll either get them 3d printed or make some wooden ones, I have a wooden button on my octopus and it looks the nuts!

certainly seems to be the general consensus @nerzz. think the box was designed to use the mod dog 510, but if the hole is a little small its nothing a step drill won't sort out.

wood button sounds good.

@nerzz @dismal_fett Mod maker make some nice mech buttons as well, stainless steel, black aluminium, and brass i think. Both the acctuator button and MM510 need 12mm holes if that helps.

Post some pics up when your done, will be good to see how these turn out.

@Bazz_74 funnily enough I've just had some of them arrive from mod maker today! Got the black ones, look pretty nice tbh also got some modmaker 510's
