How?

Didnt put one of the insulators back in when i took it apart so when i fired it it hard shorted and vented the battery which melt the switch

What's the better kit, v1 or v2? I've not taken mine apart yet so don't know what shape the button is?

v1 has a rounded bottom on the switch v2 is oval, the one we have is rounded but i think either will fit
