Cotton Bacon's cotton flavor

I've been using the included cotton from my RTAs since I started using RTAs, moved on to by bag of Cotton Bacon V2. Two bags are both like this. The cotton flavor is much stronger than anything I've used. After a few tanks it goes down a bit, but still stronger than a fresh RTA... I can't use it, makes me gag
Do I have a bad batch, or is it because it's less processed.

It's because it's cotton bacon v2 and it tastes like shite. Always has.

I use Cotton Bacon Prime but have used Cotton Bacon and Cotton Bacon V2 - to be honest I've found that all 3 variants have a break in period similar to some older style stock coils and they can be pretty unpleasant for the first 15 - 20 hits. I'm not particularly sensitive to it but it is definitely noticeable when freshly wicked.

After building I juice up the coils well, fire the mod a few times and repeat several times, making sure to juice up the wick so it doesn't dry out and burn. After filling the tank I inhale quick but blow the vapour out immediately through the tank, huff and puff a few times and I find it clears the cottony taste pretty quick.

Like I said - I'm not particularly sensitive to it, but if its taking a few tanks worth of juice before the cottony nastiness goes away you could try what I've suggested but I suspect you'll be better off with different cotton.

I beginning to think I got a slightly moldy batch. I can sometimes taste cotton in a brand new build for the first few hits, never to this extant.

I bought it from my local vape shop but when I asked for it I went from Sarf London Herbert with the " and I'll take a packet of" to a New York rapper when I finished the sentence with " Datt white stuff" so couldn't bring myself to ask for it again.

Kendo gold ain't too bad, or Vapefly.

I've tried datt other white stuff, I understand the appeal, i can really get up the hill (with my walking stick), i also talk absolute bollocks, no change there though. I steer clear tbh, I cant trust myself not to get overly involved.

Not a Big fan of Cotton Bacon and don't mind the Firebolt Cotton, i tend to use Muji and find it's great for me. Not really tried a lot of cotton. I think the only other i have tried is the Wotofo Agleted Cotton for Mesh, i wouldn't use any other Cotton for Mesh, oh yeah, i got some Vandy Vape Cotton with my Kylin and that was Truly Awful. I usually like to stick with one Brand and the Muji Pads really suit me. If it ain't broke don't try and fix it.

firebolt shoestring is good. Very clean taste.
