salt nic is killing my coils and cotton

I have tried a fair few through vape club. The ohm boy ones are OK at 10mg strength but don’t get the throat hit. Sounds confusing but I love throat hit from base vapes but 20mg salts makes me cough with that awful itch.

Had the same issue when i tried a 20mg salt once, never went back that high ever again, always stuck with the 10s after lmao

I've been vaping for five years. I use both regular and salt nic. I have noticed that salt nicotine liquids kill my coils much faster. I have tried liquids from different manufacturers, with different salt nicotine content, at different wattages and on different devices. Salt nicotine liquids always turn my cotton and coils into a black mess within a week, while classic liquids leave almost no trace after a week of use. Has anyone experienced this? I can't find anything about it on the internet

Could be sweeteners. I often find using very sweet juices kill coils in a couple days. It's caramelisation of said ingredients that normally cause that horrid brown/black build up imho. Tried a double drip juice once. Ran out down the pub. All I could find. Strawberry watermelon and kiwi never again. Nice flavour. But tasted like sugar syrup.

I personally don't use nic salts but I do use salt based nic to mix my juices with.

I agree with this, it could be the sweetener content. Nothing turns the cotton and coil black quicker than sweetener. I find the coil will last two days max with brew bros liquid but the same or similar flavour by dripsta lasts a week. I used the same salt nic shot in both.

Not very scientific I grant you but the difference seems to be the amount of sweetener used.
