Can you leave the two pieces connected when not using and leave in your pocket? Or will it leak? Also does it use battery power if you don't use it?

Depends on what the pieces are. If the battery has a 'lock' function, then as long as you turn it off the battery'll be fine. Leaking, depends on the kit: unlikely, but some will flood if they're not kept upright. But you shouldn't need to full disassemble after every use.

Pocket is a bad plan mainly because of fluff and gak. There's wee cases you can get cheap enough for most sizes, best to invest in one and keep everything clean in it.

I always keep an ecig (ego plus evod tank) in the pen pocket in my handbag and it's always switched off because the pocket is quite tight and could possibly press against the firing button at a certain angle.

just turn it off and maybe just stick the plastic cap over the drip tip if it something like a ce4, I made the mistake of not turning mine off in my pocket and well it got bloody hot burnt the coil out and was unusable till i got home as the coil & wick was so badly burnt and needed changing.

I use the neck pouch. And or one of the ego hard cases.
Midnight we all know about ladies handbags, you can comfortably get the Itaste 134 in there.

Handbags are like Tardises. No matter what situation you are in or where you are a girl usually has something in it somewhere that will help.

In his pockets a guy has lots of loose change, some fluff, some old ticket stubs, his wallet and a penknife that has the thing on it to get stones out of horses hooves. The penknife is the guys token gesture to being prepared.

A giril has wet wipes, dry wipes, a phone, a phone charger, a phone charger that will fit a different phone, makeup, mirrors, make up removal bits, nail clipppers, nail files, little tiny but really really sharp scissors, safety pins, a sewing kit, a pair of flat shoes, a map, a whistle, a compass, a couple of spare carrier bags, a torch, a lighter, a hairbrush, sweets, chewing gum, chapstick, perfume, about 7 biros, a small notebook, some AA batteries, and chocolate, and that's just the first compartment...

Don't forget plasters, pain killers, specs + specs case, sunglasses + case, lens cleaner, packet of tissues, a book, knitting needles and yarn and Xanax ...or is that just me?

Hah! I used to have a name for pulling all kinds of weird guff out of my bag, duct tape, EMT shears, screwdrivers... Seriously, I'd be arrested if a cop ever decided to search that thing, everything just gets swallowed up in it!

, and chocolate,.

That ones still a myth.
Scientists have only ever found wrappers, never any trace of the elusive chocolate. Although the discovery of the wrappers, does indicate that chocolate was in close proximity at some point.
