Hi guys going to be doing a few mixes today. I've picked mostly flavours I know and a couple to try.

Milk & honey
Watermelon
Vanilla
Custard
Hazelnut.

Top 2 I know, vanilla & custard want to mix and try singly and hazelnut a new one. I am going to start at 10 % flavour.

So my questions once I have done a trial say 5 Mil am I ok to try them straight away after a mix before steeping? I am presuming/hoping the taste is ok then making a larger batch to put in the cupboard.
Also does the tastes change alot through the steeping process? I am going to use a milk frother than plan to leave a couple of days. Once I get abit of stock up hopefully I can start leaving alot longer.

There is certainly no problem trying them as soon as you've made them, but flavours like custards are going to need at least 2 weeks to really start to hit their stride. It really depends on the flavours as to how much they change during a steep the only way to really find out is to test for yourself or read up on someone else's notes. Just make sure you take your own notes on percentages, taste etc.

Taste will change a lot through the steeping process for some flavours. Custard and creams especially. I'd say a good 4 weeks for the true custard flavour to develop, although the longer the better :)

Cheers again looking forward to getting started. Not planning to re invent the wheel. Just simply trying to save a few £
