Crazy wire company - fused Clapton wire

Good morning

I have used the crazy company a few times and have had no issues with their products and service so thought I would try some of their pre made Clapton wire, more specifically their fused Clapton wire. Has anyone had any experience of this product. The picture of the reel looks a bit weird.

Don't really use clapton wire these days, but have bought a few types of wire from crazy wire on ebay and found it to be excellent. So if it was me I'd probably trust them. But I do see what you mean from the photo it looks like, a little kinky?

The core wires are twisted, thats why it looks weird.

The come lightly twisted because they are made poorly compared to diy
But you can reverse the twist on short sections (drill is best but a pair of pliers and a mug do the job) and the wire is OK
Not the best but it's great if you can't make it/can't be bothered

How do you do it with a mug please I've got a roll of 2x 26awg fused and I can't use it in its twisted form it's too fat!

What I find odd is in the description they say:

"Unlike our other products this is a type of wire that we're not able to produce ourselves in house"

then further down they say:

"This is our own product which is spooled in house"

They're not referring to the same thing, the first one is talking about the spooling and the 2nd one is referring to Fecral, they're under two different caption

How do you do it with a mug please I've got a roll of 2x 26awg fused and I can't use it in its twisted form it's too fat!

Take a set of pliers and a mug
Attach one end of the wire to the handle (best done so it will tighten as you spin) and hold the other end with the pliers
Twist the mug on the opposite direction to the twist and it will untwist
It's the backwards version of an old trick to make twisted wire
