I knew it because I witnessed it. And yes it was a 10 sec news snippet. It's a witch hunt otherwise the dickheads in the parks would have had 15 odd cameras [...]

And I know about them because it was extensively reported and I saw the reports.

A "witch hunt"???? Holding a Gummint special adviser to account is a witch hunt now??

The witches of Salem were innocent but Cummings did clear wrongdoing.

In his shoes I would do the same. Difference is I'm not "high profile" & wouldn't have the press watching every move I make. So yes, it's a witch hunt.. My parthers small grand daughter had to go to her auntys 200 miles away while her mother recovered from personal issues so I fully get why he did what he did.

Cummings now claims he had the right to interpret the rules, but everyone else was supposed to blindly accept the 'stay home! Stay home!' diktat. THAT is why people are so annoyed with him. Rightly so. No witch hunt, just understandable anger.

While he may have saved his own skin, I think his image has just fallen through the floor.

The rules can be interpreted however one wants to. I'm not annoyed with him, I'm more annoyed by the presses behaviour throughout the pandemic.

What a load of old twaddle. Media needs to get a fucking grip. Starting to get extremely cringey. How many times do they need to ask the same question and get the same answer? They may not like the answer - doesn't mean they need to repeat the question a dozen times across half a dozen "reporters".
