Custard Conundrum

I've read a lot about vanilla custard vapes on here and elsewhere, so when making an order from Steamgunk, I decided to add on a bottle of Captain Custard. It arrived today, and impatience made me put some straight into a protank. Now, I like custard. I like vanilla. The juice smells lovely, and the exhale is really nice and creamy, but the inhale is making me gag. Almost chemical. Passable for the first few drags but then ugh. Can anyone tell me if this is likely to change with steeping?

I steep my diy custard for about 8 weeks. I make a bottle a week and rotate it it goes really dark and that chemically taste goes away.

could be your cooking the custard...try a lower setting.....i vape mine on a PT3 @8

Thanks guys, it's gone in the cupboard for now, but I will also try it through the range of settings in a week or two. The exhale was tasty enough for me not to give up on this one.

I got some Colonel Custard from T Juice. My wife got impatient and tried it the next day and told me it was horrible. I tried it and it had that horrible chemical taste mentioned above. I put the atty to one side and tried it again a couple of days later, much better! The bottle is now in the juice cupboard with the top off. Chocolate milkshake takes time to come round as well.

Leave it 5 days to a week and it will be ambrosial

I made some plain old vanilla juice recently,tried a few drops in my dripper to test it...result=stripped the dripper instantly & was going to post on here asking "who in their fecking right mind(with working tastebuds)would want to vape vomit?" as I nearly did vomit,it was vile! So bad,I was going to chuck the bottle down the sink but I'm glad I didn't as earlier,I was looking for a bottle of juice to go in the dripper and because I couldn't find my low nic dripper juice,I picked up the vanilla.


Few sniffs,wtf is this(I don't label my juice as I only have 2 or 3 bottles on the go)brown liquid? Oh well,I NEED a bottle NOW so onto the dripper it went.That is when I remembered what it was,vanilla+peppermint tasted exactly like mint ice-cream(though the juice doesn't smell like it)and because it's only 7-9 days old,it will only improve further.Pity it has 18 mg nicotine in it,as I'm sat here nursing the nic headache over a cuppa.
