Don't know mate, I disagree. It's my understanding that a virus mutates more quickly if it is in danger of becoming destroyed. If we were late to react surely it would stay as it is.The article is saying because our reaction to the virus was so woeful and so many people were infected we have given it the opportunity to mutate and if we had lockdown earlier this might have been avoided.
It does make some sense to me tbh
Isn't it interesting two of the replies so far are obviously by people that haven't bothered to read the article.
