My Griffin just broke. No matter what I do I can't get it to work. I've looked at youtube videos and no'one seems to disassemble or reassemble the Griffin base. My positive post was wobbly, so I tried to tighten the bottom screw, and the entire thing fell apart.

So.. I'm looking for a new RTA. I'm more of a flavour chaser, not really a cloud chaser. I'd enjoy a tank built for single-coils; I'm tired of my single coil RDAs having such tight airflow in single mode (Unity, Derringer.) The only RTA I've tried is the Griffin, so I haven't a clue what to compare it too.. But damn, that flavour. Anyway, thanks all.

If my Griffin was to break, I'd buy another Griffin. And maybe another one for an emergency back up.

Understandable, just a shame!
When I got it it wouldn't fit on my Reuleaux because the pin was too short, so I left it aside. I've had it on a mech mod the past three days and it's already broke. Not something I feel like I got my money's worth from at all.

Love mine - single coil, great airflow, adjustable juice flow, top fill, easy to wick.

Downsides - some have reported leaks, (none for me), cannot be fully disassembled, the top cap seems to have a short thread, coil posts are angled.

My all day tank, tbh. http://m.gearbest.com/rebuildable-atomizers/pp_271970.html
How wide is the air? Building a single coil on my Unity / Derringer means incredibly narrow airflow, which gives me a choice between having my mouth half open for natural airflow, or sucking my driptip so hard I pass out.

Just watched a building video and the Serpent looks easy to build on. Can it fit twisted/claptons? Also, is the driptip replaceable? Metal drip tips make me hurl.

Jolly wide, whistles when dry. I have a 3mm Clapton in mine and yes, tip is 510 replaceable.
