Thought provoking stuff and an excellent summation of where we are with ecigs.

I liked the video deffo.... sad our forum wasn't included in the forum community though :)

Good video which does raise some good points. The slight grey area that I can see is who is ultimately responsible for the quality of nicotine, should it be the juice mixers which as said in the video are growing in numbers, or should it be the nicotine suppliers? If the juice makers get the nicotine from solid reliable and documented suppliers is there then an affordable test that they can do to show they have mixed at the correct levels. And where does that leave us diyers? I buy my nicotine from a trusted source and personally I know that although I aim to mix at 6mg Im probably mixing it down to less than that and I take great care with the nicotine measurements, but I have heard stories of people that say they know roughly how much to put in and they add abit of this and abit of that-hardly a scientific method. Vaping is increasingly becoming abit of a minefield and we all need to watch our backs :)

Due to mixing my own and seeing how easy it is to Eff up, I stopped buying home brews (No offence intended to the home mixing sellers out there)

I know where one gets their supplies, but no other has divulged where they purchase their nic, flavourings, nor provided evidence of a sterile environment, where they do their mixing. Under the guise of protecting their one of a kind mixes.

I think it is very important for home brewers that are selling to be overly cautious and more transparent than the larger companies like Hangsen, Dekang ect ect ect.

With that all being said, if we get too cautious and too nit picky, our DIY stuff may become at worst, banned and unable to obtain through well known vendors. :(

Its a difficult one, and something that DOES concern me .. not sure it should be just aimed at homebrewers tho .. some of the bigger vendors sell juice that while nicely packaged etc .. I would like to see more info on.

Maybe this is a good thread for vendors to have their say .. and provide us with any info they have about their juices and its make up ?

I know all mixers of juice can have their products tested by ECITA, Dekang and Hangsen release their safety reports bi-yearly I believe ( I posted them somewhere on here )

It might be well worth it for every seller of juice aside from companies tested, to have their juice tested for accuracy, purity ect... Im not sure how much ECITA charges, but I think whatever the cost, it would be well worth it.

Its difficult for those of us who make 'unique' liquids to make public exact flavours used much the same as the likes of the cola companies keep their exact recipe under wraps, however i do understand concerns, here is a list of suppliers and brands i personally use
Liberty flights
flavourart
perfumers apprentice
decadent vapours
alba vapours
paradisevape
vapeescape

All are reputable uk based suppliers, i never order from china or anywhere else outside of the uk, not saying none uk suppliers are bad i just prefer to order within the country, hope this helps

I personally would never ask for an exact recipe, but having your customers know where your liquid comes from before you make it is a + in my eyes for your customers. This list here Judy, shows that you aren't partial and are willing to "spread the love" amongst other vendors. It's about that community spirit kind of thing going on. Have you thought of buying your nic base in bulk from Cig Eliquid or even NicVape in the states? Will save you in the long run and both are excellent quality!
