Decent first mod without breaking the bank?

Hey folks,

Well, after three months of using an iGo-L on my two 650mAh eGo batteries,I've knackered them. They now refuse to fully charge and the charger will blink all day if I let it. I understand how I've damaged them and I'm ready to move onto a first mod anyway. After moving to dripping,I can't see myself going back to clearos again. Rebuildables are the way forward and trust my batteries to dive during the week I take delivery of 4 metres of 3mm silica wick!! Sod's Law ;)

I've got my eye on a Vamo, ideally the seemingly rare-as-rocking-horse-poo stainless one,but I could cope with the chrome. I just want something of good build quality that isn't going to give up on me. I don't want to go down the eGo route again...I want more power and consistent vaping. Bye bye eGos....you did your starter kit job.

Can anybody recommend any good mods I may have overlooked and particularly vendors who have the stock? (Saw something called a K200 but know nothing about it???) Stock seems to be a bit low, particularly in the 18650/18350 battery department. I saw Stealth Vape have a deal on for a chrome Vamo with charger and 2x 18350s,but they're out of stock. eBay looks low on battery stock too.

Help please! I don't really know where to turn next, but I'm going to throw my toys out of my pram if I have to keep charging my eGos every five minutes and use them with a slightly leaky CE5 :banghead:

Cheers,

Tobes

Yep agree with zt I have a Sig tele, very good value for money :)

yeah I love mine .. some attys are a bit on the piss on top of mine tho (only if you really look and not all of them) Im tempted to twat it with a hammer to see if I can level it out :D

So the whole thing about the 'flat top' not being a flat top doesn't keep you awake at night then? :rotflmao:

No actually .. im not bothered about a gap .. as long as its fricken equal on each side!

I have the exact same kit from vapegear, and was telling my wife yesterday that out of 8 mods I currently possess, tis my favourite.

All round work horse, and i like the brushed stainless :D

Thanks for your advice ZT whit77 and Vapemonkey1980.

After fighting the spending guilt for a bit,I referred to the total in my banner saying I've not sent three hundred and seventy odd quid up in smoke....which is probably a very conservative estimate!! Then I thought about how I've worked my arse off for the last three weeks and haven't bought myself a pressie for ages. So sod it,I've bought one. :woohoo:

Hope I've done the right thing, but it looks sexier and sturdier than a Vamo, which was my only other real option in this price bracket, but the stainless Vamo seemed overpriced once you've added your batteries/charger etc. Hope it turns up quickly. Got to have an operation shortly and I'll be doing nowt but sitting on my arse for weeks.....a decent, consistent vape is therefore a must!! :D

Now,can anyone recommend a good place to grab a couple of 18350s or perhaps advise me on brands to steer clear of and the ones to go for? I see the name 'Efest' popping up a lot,but they seem harder to find at the mo. I see a lot of Trustfire ones on eBay and the like, but can they be trusted?

Cheers,

Tobes

Yes mate, ordered it from Vapegear. Hopefully it will be 'appy fookin' days tomorrow, because I'm ready to chuck these knackered eGos under the next passing bus. Getting about 40 minutes of half-arsed vaping out of both of them! :-)
