Different nicotine

Hi all , my missus and myself vape nicotine at different levels , so what I would like to know is can I make up say a batch of 100ml of flavour then decant into smaller bottles and add the nicotine at this stage ,if so would you use the calculator with zero nicotine input when making the first mix .......Thanks in advance for your help.

Yes, you can do that. Yes you start with 0nic in calculator. [emoji4]

Just remember adding nic afterwards can very slightly alter the taste as it may dilute it but not very much

When you say 100ml of flavour, does this include PG & VG? it should do lol

If you are mixing at 12mg, then that will be 1.6ml of 75mg nic base in the 10ml bottle, so it will weaken the flavour a little, so if you wanted a finished total of 20% flavour, i would premix it at 25% (i may be wrong here,) to allow for the nicotine dilution

Nicotine at very different levels can change the flavour slightly .. this is because nicotine itself has a kind of peppery flavour (to me anyway).

That's why when people try juices in shops they can be different when they buy a new bottle and take them home .. the nic levels are different.

You could make your juice at the lower nic level, take out 10ml add 0.4ml of 72mg/ml nic this will boost it by approx 3mg/ml. I say approx cos this doesnt account for the increase in volume to 10.5ml.

Easier to take out 9.6ml of juice and add 0.4ml nic
