Dilute my own VG or buy ready diluted?

I'm in the process of gathering up all my supplies to have a go at mixing my own liquid, I can buy pharmaceutical grade VG pretty cheap on ebay but was wondering if best to buy the thinned out stuff from an e-liquid supply vendor?

Thin it out yourself. 20-25% vodka, or deionised water (from halfords type shops ect) till it's a better consistency

For VG either darkstar or lubrisolve are great, and both well priced. If you wanted to thin your vg you can use vodka or distilled water. I found 5% was plenty. Don't use deionised water, only distilled.

thank you! I can get 1litre VG on ebay (apparently pharmaceutical grade) £7.50, is it worth getting the branded VG and if so why? could you recommend a vendor?

Ordering from one place would save paying for postage for different vendors. I use chefs vapour for all my flavour concentrates. [emoji106][emoji2][emoji2]

Dont used deionised water, it still can contain nasties. If you're going to thin it out with water you want to use distilled water. I would use PG to thin it out unless you have an intolerance to it.

Always get confused between the 2 names. But the water you get for topping up old car batteries

Same percentage if using decent vodka. decent, not the cheap jakey stuff.

thanks mate, that's really helpful! Have been looking at chefs vapour already, will probably start with the one shot concentrates until i get a better grasp of the whole mixing process.
