thank you! I can get 1litre VG on ebay (apparently pharmaceutical grade) £7.50, is it worth getting the branded VG and if so why? could you recommend a vendor? For VG either darkstar or lubrisolve are great, and both well priced. If you wanted to thin your vg you can use vodka or distilled water. I found 5% was plenty. Don't use deionised water, only distilled.
Dont used deionised water, it still can contain nasties. If you're going to thin it out with water you want to use distilled water. I would use PG to thin it out unless you have an intolerance to it.Thin it out yourself. 20-25% vodka, or deionised water (from halfords type shops ect) till it's a better consistency

thanks mate, that's really helpful! Have been looking at chefs vapour already, will probably start with the one shot concentrates until i get a better grasp of the whole mixing process.Darkstar (http://www.darkstarvapour.co.uk/shop/pg-vg/vegetable-glycerine). £10 for 5litres of vg. They are very competitively priced for vg, pg, nic, and flavourings. Ordering from one place would save paying for postage for different vendors. I use chefs vapour for all my flavour concentrates. no vodkat then lolDistilled water. Going by other mentions of this on the interwebs, 10% dilution is fine.
Same percentage if using decent vodka. decent, not the cheap jakey stuff.
