Disposable reset puff counter

I got a 50k puff disposable with 50 mg of nic (im american and i know its overkill but thats the only level we have here) but i had my disposable for a week now it is a hotbox elite i noticed my puff percentage go from 70% back up to 100% on its own i never taken it apart or noticed any leaks it hasnt autofired or anything know what may be the case??
