Just about to start mixing, just waiting on 72vg base arriving .
I was wondering whether i need to dilute my boots(for now) vg with 10% distilled water..
Using evods with cotton wick..not had any issues with wicking vaping mainly 80/20vg liquids, mostly custards

i don't bother and i mix at 50/50. it is thicker than usual but it vapes well in my pro tanks.

i'm allergic to heavy pg..so the only pg will be in the flavourings..10-20%
its an ag base i'm getting

i don't know then dude, if you're using an ag base then that will already be thin enough as it's been watered down already. as for the rest of the vg i'm not sure if it will wick well or not, i only use high vg juice in drippers at the moment. you can buy plain ag from the alchemists cupboard. using that instead of plain vg should make it a nice consistency to vape. sorry i couldn't be more help.

The Boots VG is very thick and gloopy, and seeing as your base mix is VG and you are only going to add PG via flavourings @ (say average 15%), it would not do any harm to add a little bit if distilled water, but only very little, and only if you feel you need it. 10% water added may well be too much, because, although it appears thick, the Boots vg will get thin very quickly when you start adding a 'thinner'.
A 'first try' using 3%-5% distilled water would be a fair place to start and, chances are, that 3% will easily be enough.
Not forgetting that adding the distilled water 'after the fact' if your batch seems thick, will also dilute your target Nicotine mg so best to put it in (if you choose to do so) as part of your batch.

Thanks.....think it should be fine
had to send first nic base back as they had sent pg.
Really looking forward to mixing ,although the steeping part is a right pain in the ass.

Will be on here to ask more questions :-)

If you are impatient about the steeping, things can be hurried along by sitting your freshly mixed liquids in a hot water bath (with the bottle tops off) for a couple of hours, not too hot, though, around 40-50 C (hand hot). Most liquids are very vapeable with a hot bath and two days steeping, some are OK the same day with an initial warm up in a bath.
All liquids benefit from a bit of ageing.

If you are getting an AG base (Aqueous Glycerin) then don't dilute your vg as the base has already been diluted accordingly at the suggested 10% adding more will thin it way too much. Just my 50p worth
