And if it works you can be expecting a little bottle as a thank you for giving me the kick up the backside to do it in the first place :D

Couple of things I may be able to add, I have seen some chemistry filters on Ebay which would be a solution to filtering the tobacco from the mix when straining. Also large steeping T-Bags also act as a filter (PF - I've sealed your order now but I will send some filter bags in a seperate envelope). There are a couple of guys on another forum (!!) who are currently steeping tobacco leaves and have pics etc of the stages of progress. am I allowed to post the link??

Would also add that when you steep the tobacco leaves, you are extracting tobacco flavour concentrate only, which you would add to your nic bases as a normal concentrate

Thanks for that :) I put my order in and then thought I should have got some tea bags too! I think I caught you just as you'd put the capellas up (I hadn't been sitting there all week hitting refresh, honest I wasn't ;) )I'm really quite excited about it all now :D

I think I'd prefer to witness our own Purplefowlers experiences ;) This thread is going to be interesting!

Ok not a problem, just thought it may have assisted with some of the questions which have been raised with this thread already. I too think this is going to be a great thread to watch!

I hope this doesn't cause upset or offence (as I said earlier, my understanding is too limited for me to have any "educated" opinion, and my lack of understanding is causing questions to pop up in my head!) - but it seems to me that you can't just be obtaining a flavour - no more than you are obtaining only a flavour when you make a cup of tea or coffee - you are steeping caffeine, tannin and all the other "goodies/baddies" etc. So, to my thinking, there must be more in the resulting liquid than flavour? Again, it's probably me being too much of a worrying tart. As Mark said earlier, whatever you end up with is probably better than smoking, and the counter-argument to my point is that the effects of inhaling food flavourings are largely unknown too, and I'm doing that without too much thought!

See? Arthur or Martha - I'm not entirely sure what I am!
