Ive just got a Lavabox at the weekend, and I've done a bit of reading about getting it setup.

Ive tried the recommended battery settings but if i set it to 9.99Wh or anything other than 9. I don't get full battery percentage, at 9.99 the battery meter shows 90%.

Should I leave it at 9? Is it faulty?

Have you put it back on charge after you've changed the settings? What are the individual cell voltages in device monitor?

Yeah I have and it doesn't charge anything further.

My girlfriend has took her laptop back now so I'm not able to check now. Im on mac. I get her laptop back tomorrow and check and update you.

Thanks

OK so the battery is OK, not sure whats going on then, try resetting the discharge curve profile to default and re input the battery details before uploading then to your device...

@Tubbyengineer Ran the battery analysis last night. Uploaded the CSV and charges to 100%. But left in standby for 20mins it drops to 98%.

Not sure if this is performing normally or not.

Ive ben told to send it back for the retailer to inspect. Is it worth it?

98% is pretty much what you'll get the second it drops from 4.2v, should be pretty straight forward discharge profile after that...

Sorry to resurrect an old thread but how do you know what % your batteries are on. Mine just show a battery not an actual % number.

Either just directly on Esribe or you can set the board up to show it on the screen, using Esribe of course.

It's in the screen section of EScribe, you can set the various lines to display different things - and a handy hint is that you probably won't be able to see the charging screen below about 25% brightness...
