Do all flavours need em or sweetener?

Hi guys

Am vaping capella cookie dough now, made 50/50 at 10%

But this, same as all other flavours I've made (apart from friuits) tastes quite bitter and flat, I assumed cookie dough would be an all in one mix up n go kinda deal.

Do most flavours need em or a sweetener to make them tasty? This is the same sorta bitter taste I've had with other flavours too.

What should I be doing different?

If I remember rightly a juice manufacturer on POTV said the majority of Capella concentrates are unsweetened.

Just add little at a time if it's not sweet enough. Good luck bud.

be warned though.....4 drops em in a 10ml mix will wipe out pretty much anything and just turn it to candy floss.

It also tends to wipe out your taste buds for half an hour

it varies a lot.

Some blends just work without any sweeteners, usually you do need to add some sweetness to a mix.

Our berry cheesecake doesn't use any sweetener and is naturally sweet just the way it is, all of the rest of our liquids have sweetener in them. The % of sweetener varies lots some use very little, some need quite a bit.

I don't use EM in anything I make because I hate the stuff, but that's just my personal preference.

(I think it muffles everything too much and makes things muted or distorted in my experience)

As a general rule of thumb add 1% sweetener (PA sweetener which is 10% sucralose to PG works well) to any mix you make and then adjust it afterwards depending on how it comes out.

I did pick up a bottle of sweetener when I bought my first mixing supplies but haven't really played around with it, I think that too is capella, from memory its called super sweet sucralose??
10 ml bottle of aqueous clear liquid.
Is this the sorta thing I should be adding to bring the flavours too life?

Are we talking drop at a time or 1% at a time?

i diluted my sweetener to 33%....gives me a touch more control in 10ml bottles where 1 drop may not be enough with 2 being too much...
I always give it a froth/shake and leave overnight before tasting
(Although i'm not sure if thats required ,but better safe than sorry)
I'm currently using 1 drop em and two/thirds sweetener per 10ml...
I may try and cut down on em (esp in custards) at a later date..due to info VaperCaper above
