Doctors recomend e-cigs

Haha, great. Maybe if doctors are going to recommend e cigs, we should take them to court now because according to the powers that be, there's not been enough research yet to determine their safety !

I told my doctor i switch to an e-cig and they updated my file to say 'non smoker - using electronic cigarette'.

I think it kind of depends what sort of doctor is doing the talking as to whether or not they recommend vaping.

It's often the GPs who are at the 'coal face' when it comes to dealing with the everyday issues caused by smoking that are likely to recommend it.

On the other hand, if the doctor happens to be speaking on behalf of what amounts to a trade union for doctors (BMA) that has close ties with big pharma, they're likey to say it can only be 'safe' if medically licensed and put into the hands of their big pharma buddies.

Strange that, innit?

But with projected users set to outnumber regular smokers in several European nations by 2016, lawmakers will have a difficult job to turn the tide. “It’s a consumer revolution, led by word of mouth rather than advertising,” says Chris Snowdon, a fellow at the Institute of Economic Affairs, a British think tank. “As exponential growth continues, so many people will be ‘vaping’ it will make the decision for politicians.”

that is a great article and you're right about the last paragraph great stuff

My Dr,when informed during my last visit that I'd quit smoking tobacco & now used nicotine from an APV declared that that was great news & that nicotine will offer me a "crutch" to assist with my mental health issues. This kind of took me aback,in much the same way as the information given me by a psycho-analyst about "E"'s being good for people with my mental health problems(only not the E's available on the street, but the pure shit from a lab)
