Dovpo squonk issues

Hi guys,
I’ve been using the dual topside for a while now and I love it. Until recently when it stoped recognising the atomiser, it was probably about 7 months old so I just went and bought another. The problem I’m trying to get resolved is with the new one, it just doesn’t squonk as good as the first one did, my first dovpo squonked great, I could keep the pressure on the bottle and the juice would rise until I let go, that way I could submerge my coils if I wanted to. Anyway this new one doesn’t squonk the same and it just spits a little juice out at a time and only once in a while it’ll submerge my coils if I hold it down. Anyone else had issues with this? Any help would be much appreciated ✌

It does sound like there is a leak somewhere inside as pressure on the bottle should move the juice. If there is a leak it will be sending your juice into the innards where it will fry the board. If it's new I think you should get in touch with the retailer.

It funny because since I posted that message it seems to have sorted itself out a bit. I’ll keep a close eye on it and if I do continue to have problems I’ll go back to the retailer as you said, I really appreciate the help ✌

I think if there was a leak you would probably notice after not too long, have you tried a different bottle on it? Might be that there's a defect on the tubing (concave in a spot or a kink) or possibly something in there blocking it. If not that then it might be a problem with the 510 on the mod.
Mine looks pretty easy to take apart, if you still have your old one maybe have a practice on that at pulling it apart since it's broken, see about maybe swapping the tubes over etc. Or if you're not confident doing that as above i'd just get in touch with the retailer.

1 Could be leaking air from where the pipe leaves the bottle or the top cap of the squonk bottle.
If you still have the bottle from the old one it could be worth trying that one instead.

2 hole in the squonk pin could be obstructed
Check for any foreign bodies there

3 tank and squonk pin in mod not making sufficient connection and leaking juice into 510 threaded area and then Ito mod.

Hope you get to the bottom of this as squonking is a fantastic vape for flavour

Again thank you for replying.
Yes I tried the bottles from my old mod and I had the same issues. Like I say though it seems to have sorted itself out and is now working okay. Maybe like you say there was a kink or obstruction somewhere in the pipe or the 510.
I think it may have been to do with the top cap as you said, on my first dovpo when I would unscrew it I would hear a suction sound, I don’t really hear it on my new one. I just made sure it was screwed down as tight as possible so maybe it was that. Anyway whilst it’s okay I’ll just keep an eye on it and hope I’ll have no more issues.
Yes I agree squonking is great! Was introduced to it about 7 months ago and would never go back to a regular tank.

Sounds like either a bad seal or the little tube is partially blocked, mine after 8/9 months of daily beatings had the same issue, i took bottle and cap off and managed to flush the tube with a syringe, was perfect again (and still is).
