Drag Nano: do these have ceramic coils?

seriously my pod was utter shit had to suck like a whore on a limp dick to get anything and the money shot was piss poor aswell lacked flavour 100% looks like me and zou got unlucky
Must be a big difference between some pods. My experience couldn't be any more different. A shame because it's a cracking device when working properly.

But anyway I thought the intelligent gene pod chip was supposed to have a cold boot mode and prevent dry hits?

No idea but I received two more packs of pods today so time will tell if it's me that's been lucky and not you guys who've been unlucky.

Where from out of interest @Mitz ? Mine were from tab lites, cheapest place that had them in stock. Wonder if there’s big variation between batches?

50:50 here and the second one I tried seemed not to be wicking too well. There was a bad off taste as well though, plasticky that wasn’t there with the original one, think it was a duff pod.
Yeah, sounds like dodgy pods tbh. Could be different batches from different factories?

Interesting how much variation there seems to be with the quality of the pods or devices, assuming it isn't solely down to individual taste buds etc. Thanks for the responses everyone.

Either way the Nano kind of looked perfect for me for a number of reasons until (spanner in the works!) I think I might be needing to use high VG juice. Now I don't know what to do :(

IMHO, the Nano is definitely NOT suitable for high VG juice. Not only is the coil and wick incredibly small but it doesn't wick the juice via direct contact, ie, the wick in contact with the juice. There is a very small and thin sheet of cotton that sits on top of the wick and coil with a hole in the sheet for where the coil is so the coil isn't covered. So the juice has to pass through this sheet of cotton before it gets to the wick. I don't know why they designed it this way but I'm gonna guess its down to airflow and the draw activation. Whatever the reason for it is, I don't believe high VG juice is going to work well at all. Personally, I wouldn't use anything above 50/50.

Excellent post, Mitz, exactly the kind of detailed information I was hoping for. Thanks!

I've got to admit the nano still interests me so I may try it anyway, as much as I vacillate and consider high vg, I just keep coming back to this device. Oh well, if it gets me a decent amount of flavour for MTL it is bound to be an upgrade anyway.
