What's new

Drip Drop Vapours

not one bit. ive had 3 bottles of pear drops now and all have been spot on.

sweets dont normally need it but did you let it steep for a week in a dark cupboard.

within the next few weeks everything should be pre steeped again.

nah i didnt let it steep as all the others ive had from them were good off the bat. will bung it into hiding for a week:thumbup:

over the last few weeks they have been moving to larger premises thanks to us lot keeping them busy so they advised to steep.
now theve settled in they will start pre steeping again so future orders should be good to go.
custards and creams can always do with a little extra steep though.

Think I have next month's order nailed down now through trial and error of this month. not all this month's I enjoyed but lemonade did settle a little bit thankfully.

so next month it will be

clotted fudge
blackcurrant menthol
mint choc chip
chocolate orange

and one other I haven't decided yet. want a custard or something but can I wait for it to steep? lol

Just tried the Cookie Dough that I got today, not unpleasant but just a general sweetness to it. Think these need a while. Do I have to take the tops off the bottles to steep them? I tend to knock things over a lot.

Really hoping to like these as if these become my ADVs it will save a fair bit of money.

steeping is letting it sit with cap on in a dark cupboard

taking top off for a few hours, is letting it breath

2 different things

for me i let dairy / pudding juice steep for a week then i take cap off and let it breath for a few hours

forgot .... everyone has their own way, this is what i prefer to do, works for me :)

i take the cap off and leave it somewhere dark for however long. giving it a vigorous shake every day if i remember.

does this actually help it steep any faster than it would if it were just left in the bottle with the lid on for the same amount of time? probably not lol

from what ive read, the nicotine will deteriorate and go brown if left to breath too long, not a good thing, so they say

anyway its how you like it that matters

Good call - I've always took tops (and drippers) off for steeping. Going to leave them on now!

Drip Drop Vapours?

I always leave tops on for a steep, just a shake when I remember.
