BUT, I can already see one problem - that well is tiny.

I can see a couple of problems, main one being is it's instantly cloneable, as you say the juice well is pretty shallow but as thats a prototype an extra mill or two depth will be a peice of piss. In fact if I'm not mistaken that whole bottom deck and lower connection block is one solid unit with a hole for the upper connection block drilled through the middle then the upper block screwed into place through the centre pin of the 510 - like a Kayfun...

Raguri, theres a good one for you, ask your engineering type tutor bod to look at a picture of that and then get him to give you a guesstimate of how long it would take to do the CAD/CAM work for that! My guess - under three hours...

I could work that out
It's just getting to a bloody cad/cam machine, with material and a file on CAD...
Currently, I'm not able to do any CAD work at home due to my shitty netbook, or at college as "I'm not technically an engineering student" since I'm doing automotive ENGINEERING.
