HI ALL; my t3s was tasting really bad so i washed it thoroughly then dry burned it 3 times but still tasted bad. the 1100mah ego battery was getting really hot so i had to stop early so maybe didnt dry burn enough or for long enough? was worried battery might blow. then i heard if you bin top flavour wick it tastes better so i did so but very little improvement. are t3s's just pretty crap?

Sounds like you might have burned out that coil. Try replacing it before you write a them off indefinitely.

The only reason why I said, what I said is because I have burned out plenty of new coils in less than a day. Because I didn't pay attention to voltage or wattage. There has been several times when I accidently round robbined the volts on my Itaste or vamo from 4 volts to 11 or 15 just by having it in my vest pocket. It happens. Its not a big deal... Just frustrating especially when you out and about.

Sorry for the bad grammar and late reply. I just dropped my new Aspire Nautilus tank... Had to go to the bathroom after that. 
I use and liked the Kanger t3s with my vision spinner variable voltage battery and never had a problem but now use an aspire Pyrex nova and it is steaks ahead. It is dual coil. I got it for under £8 and the replacement coils are only £2.50. It is brilliant value and awesome. The coils also last longer. It is easy to fill and no problem with leakage or gurgling.
