Dual coil, watts, volts, resistance chart?

That one will apply to dual coils too. But feel free to ignore it. You set wattage according to what you feel is best for you The MVP will adjust itself to suit.

I was under the impression that more wattage had to be pumped into a dual coil? Is it possible on the MVP to burn out the coils if I'm using wattage instead of volts? Thanks.

No You can ape single coils at the same wattage as dual coils, the difference is that the current draw on the battery will be higher with dual coils.

Cheers mate.

I've just been reading that a 1.5 ohm dual coil is in fact a 3.0 ohm because of the two coils??? Can anyone confirm or deny? Thanks.

it is 2 coils, at 3ohms each
there are many calculators available to work out end resistance when resistors are in PARALLEL, which is what is going on here

the easy sum is make two resistors/coils the same resistance, then divide by two to get your end resistance. (when working in PARALLEL)

OK. So I always just double the ohm resistance amount on a dual coil? So according to that chart I should be using the 1.5 ohm dual coil which is really 3.0 ohm at between 3.8-4.3 volts or 4.81-6.16 watts for optimal vape? Thanks.

no.

your device "sees" the dual coils (assuming you made 2 coils of 3ohm each and hooked them up in parallel) as a single 1.5ohm coil.
so look up 1.5ohm in the chart, and use those figures as a baseline. but more importantly, set it to what makes you happy when you vape. there is no hard and fast rule.
