Dual coiling for vw devices

hi guys.

i'm almost completely converted to rda's these days and now only use vw box mods.
i always try to keep my builds around the 1ohm to 1.5ohm mark to make the most out of my devices, this is fine with single coil setups, but i'm having a hard time finding a decent dual coil build to hit the 1ohm ish mark.

unless i use horrible thin fiddly wire i'm finding it hard to hit the 1 ohm mark without building maaaaasive coils, either in diameter or amount of wraps.

anyone have any suggestions?

the reason i try to keep around the ohm mark is because some juices i vape at say 15w, and with a .7 setup on a fresh battery it only would require 3.3v and not all devices (at least the ones i use) like stepping down, plus i don't really see the point in sub ohming on a vw setup anyway

If I'm wanting to build higher resistance coils I always prefer to increase the diameter of the coil rather than the length/number of wraps. It seems to cause fewer wicking issues for me.

Yeah, I'm sort of employing all means, stepping down to .32 rather than .4, 2.5mm diameter coil rather than 2mm and an extra wrap or two.

I'm just finding it difficult to get high enough ohms on a dual compared to a single to make best use of my devices
