It doesn't sound alarmist
smudger1956 - but it's already in the wrong hands - the thieving b'stards. If someone ends up in A&E after drinking a bottle of e-juice, one must simply look at it as "Darwin's Way". Maybe not so much if it's a child, of course.
The "anti" argument about the toxicity of e-liquid just doesn't stand up to scrutiny or common sense - so many things are sold as everyday items which can easily cause death and they remain on general sale. If someone is stupid enough to drink a substance from a childproof bottle bearing all the necessary warnings and symbols against doing so - what more can be done? I've seen a couple of cases where people have drunk bleach and died, and I've seen so many fatal paracetamol overdoses that I couldn't begin to give a total number over the past twenty-odd years. I've also seen very many fatal hangings. Bleach, paracetamol and rope all remain on sale because the majority of those using them follow the instructions or use it for it's generally accepted application and remain safe. I've never seen a single fatal nicotine overdose, but I've seen very many deaths directly due to acute alcohol toxicity. Drug and alcohol deaths are seldom reported in the media.
Please don't think I'm having a go - just trying to reassure and of course, these are just my thoughts!
