E-Liquid recommendations (less sweet)

I have now been vaping for about a month and it works well. I am using an iStick Pico mod and have a Melo3 tank, that I dont use very often anymore and a Wasp Nano RDA.
My juices are mostly Dinner Lady, mostly just because that was one of the first juices that I found in a store nearby, now I mostly order them online. The quality is good, but find them (and some other juices) a bit sweet.

Do youhave any recommendations for juices that have a good flavour but are not sweet? I was thinking about some good menthol, and fruit flavours that are more sour than sweet. I was also thinking about some coffee flavours that are more on the bitter side, or maybe tea. I would also like to try a tobacco flavour, I know many people don't recommend this, but I think it won't hurt to try, even if it will probably taste nothing like a cigarette.
Other flavour recommendations are appreciated as well, as long as they are not too sweet or cakey.

Those 'many people' are clearly idiots.

Tobacco flavours are highly recommended and enjoyed by a lot of people here.

I would recommend the indigene range, they are quite dry and not overly sweet.

although I find these a little sweeter.... the lime one is quite tangy though.

TBH its probably not that easy to tell if a juice is overly sweet or not just by taste unless you know what's gone in it.
Some may not taste that sweet but maybe packed full of the stuff.
VG sweetness can vary too and make a difference to the finished juice.
Hope someone can advise more than me unless you fancy considering making your own then you can tailor it to suit.

they will 'work' .... but I'd probably recommend the 'high VG shortfill' versions for DTL vaping.

Hi. I too started with dinner lady and looked at some sours and went for Bryns special sauce blue sour. It smells quite acetoney but the flavour is great. Nice and sharp and definitely sour. It is, however, very cool so might not give you the warmth you’re after. I’m very new to this so I’m sure others will have far more options

What I mean is, how would it not be totally bizarre if somebody started a thread saying:

“Hi forum, I’m worried my eliquid might be too sweet. It doesn’t taste sweet at all though, but I’m not sure, I think it might be sweet even though it doesn’t taste sweet at all...”

I get what you're saying.
The suggestions for menthol, sour, or tobacco's though makes me think of some of the sweetest coil killing juices out there but the names and taste don't really suggest they should be or taste that sweet.
TBH I dont think I've seen anybody saying these types of juices taste too sweet it's usually my coils keep dying and ive no idea why.

Menthols - Malaysian, blue slush, fantasi
Tobaccos - Caramels, honeys
Sour - lemon tart etc.....
